Key National Clusters – Organizers

Key National Clusters are dynamic hubs of innovation and collaboration that are at the forefront of driving progress in their respective fields. Each cluster will bring a unique set of expertise, experiences, and contributions to our discussion during the LIMACON conference. In an era where collaboration is the key to progress, these clusters stand as beacons of excellence, bringing together industry leaders, researchers, and policymakers with a shared goal—advancing innovation, fostering economic growth, and addressing the challenges of our time.

Director Mariusz Wasilewski will present activities of the Polish Construction Cluster with a presentation entitled Cluster cooperation is the key to success on local and international markets. The aim and mission of the Polish Construction Cluster is to systematically support institutions and entrepreneurs operating in the field of construction services by creating a lasting framework of cooperation, building an innovative network of connections based on the transfer of knowledge, technology and innovative solutions between Cluster members, business environment institutions, scientific and research units and scientific institutions and local governments in order to develop a strong competitive position in the field of construction services in the region of Eastern Poland, in particular in the Podlaskie, Warmian-Masurian and Lublin voivodeships.

Coordinator of Evoluma Industry Cluster (previously Metal Processing Cluster), Sebastian Rynkiewicz, will talk about Industry 5.0 – new or old challenges. Evoluma Industry Cluster, previously Metal Processing Cluster is an effective partner in cooperation for the benefit of its members in the domestic, European and global markets. The Evoluma Industry Cluster, previously Metal Processing Cluster (KOM) is an initiative of the Center for Promotion of Innovation and Development, which brings together more than 100 companies operating in the metalworking industry in services, production and trade, as well as 20 strategic partners: universities, business environment institutions and local authorities. Among the cluster’s members are national and global leaders in this industry, with a high potential for innovative development. The initiative is an open group, which can be joined by companies and organizations operating in the metalworking industry. 

Leader of the Polish Cluster of Composite Technology, Andrzej Czulak will present Global Impact, Local Partnerships: The Role of the Polish Cluster of Composite Technologies. The aim of the Polish Composite Technology Cluster is to promote Polish technologies, companies and institutions that are involved in the manufacture, research and design of composite components, as well as to popularize Polish technological thought on equipment and components for the production of composites. To create a strong entity representing the needs of the composite industry, among other things, through participation in international trade fairs and conferences of products and services of Polish companies, and to improve the recognition of Polish companies in the composite industry. PCCT is also a place to improve knowledge in the field of composite materials through training courses and trips to leading international centers, and the implementation of joint research projects.
