HPK – Horizontal Contact Point Eastern Poland

HPK Eastern Poland is one of six Horizontal Contact Points coordinated and financed by the National Contact Point for Horizon Europe, operating within the structures of NCBR. These entities were selected in December 2021 in a competition conducted by NCBR, with the prospect of operating until the end of the current framework program, i.e. until 2027 inclusive.
Horizontal Contact Point Eastern Poland is a team of specialists supporting the participation of scientific units, research institutions, enterprises and other entities in the Horizon Europe program in relation to its cross-sectional and administrative aspects. HPK Polska Wschodnia operates in the following voivodeships:
Lublin (office in Lublin at the B. Dobrzański Institute of Agrophysics of the Polish Academy of Sciences) and Podlaskie (office in Białystok at the Białystok University of Technology).
All specialists employed at HPK Polska Wschodnia have many years of experience in conducting training, consulting and providing information about the European Union Framework Programs. HPK Eastern Poland operates within the network of Horizontal Contact Points located in Poland’s main scientific centers. The network is managed by the National Contact Point operating within the structure of the National Center for Research and Development in Warsaw.
The basic task of HPK Eastern Poland is:
- information and consulting activities,
- organization of training and workshops,
- consultations for entities preparing project applications,
- consultations for entities implementing projects,
- giving opinions on selected documents regarding the Horizon Europe program.
