The conference “Advanced hybrid lightweight materials and technologies for global circular economy” is a unique event that provides an international platform for cooperation. This is the first such conference organized by Bialystok University of Technology in cooperation with the Marshal’s Office, National Key Clusters (Evoluma Industry Cluster previously Metal Processing Cluster, Polish Construction Cluster, Polish Composite Technology Cluster) with the support of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce, Foundation for the Development of Bialystok University of Technology. Foreign institutions that honored with their support are: Institute of Lightweight Engineering and Polymer Technology, Technische Universität Dresden and Fraunhofer Institute for Ceramic Technologies and Systems IKTS.
The three-day conference is dedicated to hybrid materials, composite materials, lightweight structures and global circular economy and will be held on 12-14/11/2023 at Bialystok University of Technology.
The event is under the patronage of Assoc. Prof. Marta Kosior-Kazberuk, DSc, PhD, Rector of Bialystok University of Technology, who, in implementing the University’s strategy, focuses its activities around the development of cooperation with the socio-economic environment and the implementation of international projects. The event was also held under the patronage of the Polish Composites Society. The honorary patron is the Mayor of the City of Bialystok.
– You are invited to the Bialystok University of Technology campus for the conference “Advanced hybrid lightweight materials and technologies for global circular economy.” The event is related to the energy transition, which requires, among other things, modern lightweight materials in conjunction with the global circular economy. We have prepared for you eight highly interesting interactive panel discussions. They cover international cooperation, science-industry and industry-science cooperation, as well as technology transfer. There will also be time to expand your knowledge of raising funds from regional, national and international sources. From November 12 to 14, the world of science will meet at our university with modern industry and the world of business. It is worth being with us,” invites the Rector of Bialystok University of Technology.
The conference is aimed at exchanging experience and discussing issues related to new technologies, but above all it will create opportunities for cross-sectoral, inter-regional and international cooperation.
– The key to the introduction of innovative solutions is the development of intersectoral cooperation and domestic and foreign network links, especially in the context of knowledge transfer, development and promotion of cooperation with the countries of the European Union,” says the chairwoman of the Organizing Committee at the Bialystok University of Technology, Izabela Zglobicka, DSc, PhD – Plenipotentiary for Internationalization at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.
Representatives of social and economic circles, as well as scientists from Poland and institutions cooperating with Bialystok University of Technology were invited to participate in the conference.
Why is it worth coming to us? Among the speakers are experts working on innovative materials, industrial technologies, economic development, climate, as well as EU institutions and universities.
