Spring Festival celebration at the Confucius Institute at the University of Gdańsk

Our teachers Ning Yu, Hongyue Zuo and Kaining Yang spent the Chinese New Year’s Eve (除夕, Chúxì) in Gdansk, celebrating together with the Confucius Institute at the University of Gdańsk during an Spring Festival event that took place at the UG’s Faculty of Languages.
Our teachers not only had the opportunity to watch performances and presentations on Chinese culture, such as the dragon dance performance or a show featuring Chinese martial arts, but also to experience and learn more about aspects of Polish culture. They were most impressed by the Chinese-Polish fashion show, which featured Polish regional folk outfits.
Courtesy of the directors of the Confucius Institute at the University of Gdańsk, the three teachers also had the chance to visit the office of the Institute, where its administration works on a daily basis.
