Visit of the executive board of the Sino-Polish Foundation of Academic Cooperation

Today we had the pleasure of hosting the president and vice president of the Sino-Polish Foundation of Academic Cooperation (波中教育合作基金会) – Mr Wojciech Szpakowski and Mr Xintao Yu.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the possibility of establishing further partnerships between our university and universities in China. We talked about the steps that need to be taken to enable BUT students, as well as students of partner universities, to study abroad, thus giving them the opportunity to learn about and understand the cultures of other countries in an international environment.

The meeting with the executive board of the Sino-Polish Foundation of Academic Cooperation was attended by the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation Assoc. Prof. Dorota Anna Krawczyk, DSc, PhD, Eng., as well as representatives of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering Management, International Relations Offices and Confucius Classroom.

We hope that today’s talks will contribute to the further internationalisation of our university, and that the information gained by both sides will help in finding the best solutions for academic cooperation.
