Universidad Veracruzana (UV) is a public higher education institute, located in the state of Veracruz, Mexico and distributed through five campuses:

• Veracruz-Boca del Río,
• Orizaba-Córdoba,
• Coatzacoalcos-Minatitlán,
• Poza Rica- Tuxpan
• and Xalapa.

 
Founded in 1944, UV has from its conception held a strong social vocation and commitment to the community of Veracruz, responding to the needs of regional development.
