Last week, mgr Aniela Staszewska participated in an Erasmus+ staff mobility to Tallinn, hosted by Estonian Business School, a partner university of the Baltic University Programme<\/a>. The program was prepared by Associate Professor Veiko Karu<\/a>.<\/p>\n

She visited universities, research groups, public institutions, and industry partners, to better understand the Estonian perspective on issues of sustainability, engineering, entrepreneurship, and international cooperation. The programme included an intensive series of meetings across Tallinn\u2019s leading educational and research institutions:<\/p>\n


Estonian Business School (EBS):<\/strong> Discussions with the Sustainable Circular Economy Research Group<\/a>, International Office and TooEarly Ventures offered valuable insights into circular economy research, early\u2011stage entrepreneurship, and opportunities for joint projects.<\/p>\n

Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech):<\/strong> At TalTech, conversations revolved around the EuroTeQ Engineering University<\/a> initiative, Circular Economy Core Lab<\/a>, the Center of Excellence SOURCES, and the university\u2019s strong commitment to student entrepreneurship\u2014showcasing pathways for European\u2011level collaboration.<\/p>\n

Tallinna Tehnikak\u00f5rgkool (TKTK):<\/strong> Meetings at TKTK <\/a>focused on the organization of Blended Intensive Programmes, hackathon concepts, and access to their well\u2011equipped technical labs\u2014opening new possibilities for applied learning and hands\u2011on student engagement.<\/p>\n

Tallinn University \u2013 Institute of Ecology: <\/strong>Here, we explored critical environmental issues such as Estonia\u2019s water management challenges and Baltic Sea ecology, and learned about the institute\u2019s scientific infrastructure and research directions.<\/p>\n

Education and Youth Board of Estonia: <\/strong>Exchanges with STEM programme coordinators provided inspiration on youth engagement, national STEM strategies, and prospects for future joint initiatives.<\/p>\n

Uptime \/ Opus Offices: <\/strong>Meeting with a representative of the private\u2011sector gave a business perspective on the challenges and opportunities of the AI era, and highlighted potential areas for Estonia\u2013Poland collaboration in the digital and IT sectors.<\/p>\n

Udzia\u0142 w sympozjum:<\/strong> The visit concluded with participation in the \u201eUniversities as Change Agents in Sustainable Development\u201d symposium<\/a>, part of the Baltic University Programme, reinforcing the role of higher education in building sustainable futures across the region.
The experience demonstrated how international cooperation can generate fresh momentum for joint learning, for entrepreneurship, and for long-term partnership building between Estonia and Poland.
