We invite all students and staff of our university to take part in a unique holiday event! From December 2 to 6, we\u2019re collecting your photos of the most original, funniest, or most outrageously tacky Festive jumpers<\/strong>. Let\u2019s create a gallery full of festive spirit and humor together!<\/p>\n

How to participate?<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Take a photo<\/strong> in your Festive jumper \u2013 the more creative, the better!
    \nDuring our language workshops on December 2-3<\/strong>, from 10 AM to 2 PM, you\u2019ll have the chance to take a festive-themed photo at the Foreign Language Centre stand<\/strong> in CNK \u2013 don\u2019t miss it!<\/li>\n
  2. Submit your photo by December 6, 12 PM<\/strong> via the form on our website (you\u2019ll find it below).<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n
  3. On December 6 (St. Nicholas Day)<\/strong>, we\u2019ll post all the photos on our Facebook page.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The authors of the photos with the most interactions will receive small gifts! Voting will close on December 9 at 9 AM<\/strong>, and we\u2019ll announce the winners shortly afterward.<\/p>\n

    A bit of Festive jumper history<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Festive sweaters have become a tradition! Initially associated with handmade gifts from grandmothers, they quickly gained popularity in pop culture. In the early 1980s, thanks to movies and TV shows, they became symbols of holiday humor and family warmth. Since then, their popularity has soared \u2013 there are even international competitions for the ugliest Festive jumper<\/strong>, and the third Friday of December is celebrated as National Ugly Festive jumper Day<\/strong>! In English-speaking countries, these events are often tied to charity collections \u2013 and we\u2019re doing the same by collecting donations and gifts for the Szlachetna Paczka (Noble Gift)<\/strong> initiative throughout Santa\u2019s Language Week.<\/p>\n

    In our contest, perfection isn\u2019t the goal \u2013 the more eccentric and unique your sweater, the better! Be part of this fun activity and show us that holiday cheer can be expressed in all sorts of creative ways.<\/p>\n

    Join us and let\u2019s fill our university (and the Internet!) with festive humor and positive energy.<\/p>\n
