{"id":18416,"date":"2021-08-20T22:05:08","date_gmt":"2021-08-20T20:05:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pb.edu.pl\/sjo\/learning-polish\/poland-and-poles\/cis-henrykowski\/"},"modified":"2023-02-02T14:11:44","modified_gmt":"2023-02-02T13:11:44","slug":"yew-henryk","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/pb.edu.pl\/sjo\/en\/learning-polish\/poland-and-poles\/yew-henryk\/","title":{"rendered":"Yew \u2018Henryk\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Amazig<\/h1>\n<h2><strong>Yew \u2018Henryk\u2019<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><em>The oldest tree in Poland is a yew tree, commonly known as <strong>yew \u2018Henryk\u2019<\/strong>, which grows next to a gable wall of a barn in a village called <a href=\"https:\/\/pl.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Henryk%C3%B3w_Luba%C5%84ski\"><strong>Henryk\u00f3w Luba\u0144ski<\/strong><\/a>, in <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Lower_Silesian_Voivodeship\">Lower Silesian Voivodeship<\/a>, in south-western Poland. It is about 1300 years old, its height reaches 15 m.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Henryk\u2019s stem was badly damaged several times: by Cossack soldiers in the 19th century, by a shell during the Second Workd War and by strong winds in 1989, when one of its offshoots was destroyed.
