And nearly 90% of Polish products made of amber embedded in silver, such as necklaces, rings or bracelets, are exported.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Baltic amber,<\/strong> also known as &#8216;Baltic gold&#8217;, is a natural fossil resin with decorative and healing properties. Amber ointments and tinctures are said to treat diseases of the respiratory tract, gastrointestinal tract, joints and headaches.
