Administrator’s information in relation to data processing

Administrator’s information in relation to data processing – pursuant to Art. 13 (1) and (2) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter referred to as GDPR )

 

  1. The Administrator of your personal data is Bialystok University of Technology, at 45A, Wiejska street, 15-351 Bialystok (hereinafter referred to as the Administrator).
  2. Pursuant to Art. (37 (1) (a) GDPR, the Controller has appointed the Data Protection Inspector whom you may email to: iod@pb.edu.pl
  3. Your personal data will be processed for the following purposes:
    • registration and organisation of the exam/ workshop/ event – pursuant to Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR;
    • accounting and tax settlements – in connection with the fulfilment of a legal obligation of the Administrator – pursuant to Article 6 (1) (c) GDPR;
    • debt collection and/or claim recovery as a legitimate interest of the Administrator – pursuant to Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR;
  4. Your personal data may be made available to banks, postal and courier service providers, entities providing services to the University, e.g. Internet service providers, legal services and other entities authorised by law.
  5. Your personal data will be stored during the period of time provided for in the regulations of the law on archiving.
  6. You have the right to access your data, receive copies of your data, and, within the regulations of the law, to:
    • rectify your data,
    • erase your data,
    • restrict the processing of your data,
    • transfer your data,
    • object to the processing of your data,
  7. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the appropriate supervisory authority, i.e. Head of the Office for Personal Data Protection, if you believe that processing of your personal data violates the data protection legislation.
  8. Providing your personal data is voluntary but necessary to take part in an exam/workshop. Failure to provide it will result in inability to participate in the examination/workshop.
  9. Your personal data will not be used for automated decision-making or profiling as referred to in Article 22 of the Regulation.
