It offers funding for going abroad for educational, professional or volunteering purposes. Participants receive a grant and are exempt from tuition fees at the host institution.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-0\">The programme is divided into several main areas (sectors):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Higher education:<\/strong> Mobility for students to complete a part of their studies abroad (from 2 to 12 months) and to undertake international traineeships. It also offers exchange opportunities for university staff.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Schools and education:<\/strong> Mobility opportunities for pupils and teachers, as well as participation in international school partnerships.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Youth:<\/strong> Youth exchanges, training for youth leaders and European volunteering opportunities for individuals aged 13 to 30.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Adult education:<\/strong> Courses, training and job-shadowing visits for educators and adult learners.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sport:<\/strong> Projects supporting local initiatives and cooperation between sports organisations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To take part in the programme, the easiest way is to contact the international office of your university, a local youth organisation or to directly visit the website of the Erasmus+ National Agency, where detailed information on recruitment and criteria can be found.
