II.10.1 Welcome to Podlasie<\/strong><\/p>\n

Within the framework of the task, in the years ac. 2024\/25 and 2025\/26 a series of excursions in the region will be carried out: to Bia\u0142owie\u017ca, Suprasl and Kruszyniany and to Tykocin. Each tour provides for the participation of 40 people. In addition to visiting important and attractive tourist and cultural sites, participants will have the opportunity to integrate and taste local dishes during the lunch provided during each trip. The main objective of the planned activities is to familiarize students with the region, its history, cuisine and traditions, highlighting the multiculturalism of Podlasie and the qualities of the local nature.<\/p>\n

II.10.2 Welcome Dinner<\/strong><\/p>\n

During the course of the project it is planned to organize 2 meetings). The event will be attended by foreign students and guests, as well as local students and BUT employees (Erasmus+ faculty coordinators, lecturers, people from the CPD, university authorities) and representatives of the city authorities, police and border guards, which will allow to establish relations and better integrate foreigners into the academic and local environment from the first days of their stay at the university. The event will be held on the PB campus.<\/p>\n

II.10.3 Welcome Center at BUT<\/strong><\/p>\n

As part of the operation of the Welcome Center, designated staff members of the IRO will be on duty for consultation. Persons from the Welcome Center will also coordinate excursions, workshops and events organized within the framework of the project acting as subject matter consultants. At the IRO, as part of the Welcome Center’s activities, a multimedia kiosk will be made available for use by foreigners, which, in addition to information materials, will allow users to use the Internet. Foreign students and visitors to the Welcome Center will receive Welcome Packs consisting of small gadgets and informational materials about the university and the region.<\/p>\n

II.10.4 Pumpkin Party<\/strong><\/p>\n

At the beginning of the 2024\/2025 academic year and the 2025\/2026 academic year, in late October and early November, it is planned to organize a welcome event to integrate newly arrived foreign students to Bialystok (a total of 2 meetings during the project). The Pumpkin Party will be held on the PB campus. Participants will have the opportunity to take part in a series of fun and integration games and win small gifts. As many students as possible will be involved in the activity. In addition, during the event, students will have the opportunity to taste traditional dishes of Podlasie cuisine.<\/p>\n

II.10.5 Christmas Meeting<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is planned to organize two \u201cChristmas Meetings\u201d in December 2024 and December 2025. The meeting is aimed at integration of academic community, exchange of experiences, presentation of cultural traditions, showing diversity in the way of celebrating Christmas, festive customs prevailing in different countries, richness of dishes eaten at Christmas, ways of giving gifts, etc. The Mayor of Bialystok (or a designated representative of the City Authorities) will be the special guest, who will be the company of this event.<\/p>\n

II.10.6 Participation in EAIE conferences<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is planned that 2 people will participate in the 2024 conference to be held in Toulouse, and 2 people in the next edition of the event in 2025. In addition to promoting the University at the \u201cStudy in Poland\u201d booth coordinated by NAWA and strengthening cooperation with partners present there, the participation of PB representatives in the conference will enable the expansion of networks and gain knowledge of the latest trends in the field of international education.<\/p>\n

II.10.7 BUT Cup football tournament<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is planned to organize two editions of the two-day soccer tournament \u201cBUT Cup\u201d. The tournament will involve 6 teams of 12 people each, including 4 teams representing foreign students (e.g.: Spain, Turkey, Portugal) and 1 – consisting of BUT local students and 1- representing BUT staff. A total of 10 matches will be played over 2 days: group matches will be held on the first day, and final matches on the second day. The matches will be held at the BUT sports complex.<\/p>\n

II.10.8. Taste Bialystok \u2013 culinary workshops on Polish and regional cuisine<\/strong><\/p>\n

Culinary workshops on Polish and regional cuisine conducted in English with elements of Polish will allow international participants to integrate and better adapt to their new place of residence. Cuisine is an important element of culture, and cooking and eating meals together is a proven way to build bonds between people. The workshops will provide an interactive and engaging way to learn about Polish traditions, increase cultural awareness and strengthen language skills.
\nThe activity is planned for implementation in the 2025\/2026 academic year; the meetings will be aimed at international students and possibly guests who will be currently staying at the Bialystok University of Technology, as well as Polish students. A total of 4 workshops will be organised, each for 15 people + a supervisor.<\/p>\n

W ramach zadania, w latach ak. 2024\/25 i 2025\/26 zrealizowany zostanie cykl wycieczek po regionie: do Bia\u0142owie\u017cy, Supra\u015bla i Kruszynian oraz do Tykocina. Ka\u017cda wycieczka przewiduje uczestnictwo 40 os\u00f3b. Poza zwiedzaniem miejsc wa\u017cnych i atrakcyjnych turystycznie i kulturowo, uczestnicy b\u0119d\u0105 mieli okazj\u0119 do integracji oraz spr\u00f3bowania lokalnych da\u0144 podczas przewidzianego podczas ka\u017cdej wycieczki obiadu.
\nG\u0142\u00f3wnym celem zaplanowanych dzia\u0142a\u0144 jest zapoznanie student\u00f3w z regionem, jego histori\u0105, kuchni\u0105 i tradycjami, z podkre\u015bleniem wielokulturowo\u015bci Podlasia oraz walor\u00f3w tutejszej natury.<\/p>\n

W wydarzeniu wezm\u0105 udzia\u0142 studenci i go\u015bcie zagraniczni oraz studenci lokalni i pracownicy PB (koordynatorzy wydzia\u0142owi Erasmus+, wyk\u0142adowcy, osoby z DWM, w\u0142adze uczelniane) oraz przedstawiciele w\u0142adz miasta, policji i stra\u017cy granicznej, co pozwoli na nawi\u0105zanie relacji i lepsz\u0105 integracj\u0119 obcokrajowc\u00f3w ze \u015brodowiskiem akademickim i lokalnym od pierwszych dni pobytu na uczelni. Wydarzenie zostanie zorganizowane na terenie kampusu PB.<\/p>\n

W ramach dzia\u0142ania Welcome Centre wyznaczeni pracownicy DWM b\u0119d\u0105 pe\u0142nili dy\u017cury konsultacyjne. Osoby z Welcome Center b\u0119d\u0105 r\u00f3wnie\u017c koordynowa\u0142y wycieczki, warsztaty i wydarzenia organizowane w ramach projektu pe\u0142ni\u0105c rol\u0119 konsultant\u00f3w merytorycznych. Przy DWM w ramach dzia\u0142alno\u015bci Welcome Centre zostanie udost\u0119pniony do u\u017cytku obcokrajowc\u00f3w kiosk multimedialny, kt\u00f3ry opr\u00f3cz materia\u0142\u00f3w informacyjnych b\u0119dzie umo\u017cliwia\u0142 u\u017cytkownikom skorzystanie z internetu. Studenci i go\u015bcie zagraniczni odwiedzaj\u0105cy Welcome Centre otrzymaj\u0105 Welcome Packi sk\u0142adaj\u0105ce si\u0119 z drobnych gad\u017cet\u00f3w oraz materia\u0142\u00f3w informacyjnych o uczelni i regionie.<\/p>\n

Na pocz\u0105tku roku akademickiego 2024\/2025 i r. ak. 2025\/2026, na prze\u0142omie pa\u017adziernika i listopada zaplanowano zorganizowanie wydarzenia powitalnego, integruj\u0105cego nowoprzyby\u0142ych do Bia\u0142egostoku student\u00f3w zagranicznych (\u0142\u0105cznie 2 spotkania w ci\u0105gu projektu). Pumpkin Party odb\u0119dzie si\u0119 na terenie kampusu PB. Uczestnicy spotkania b\u0119d\u0105 mieli okazj\u0119 wzi\u0119cia udzia\u0142u w serii zabaw i gier integracyjnych oraz zdobycia drobnych upomink\u00f3w. Do aktywno\u015bci zaanga\u017cowana jak najwi\u0119ksza grupa student\u00f3w. Dodatkowo, w trakcie wydarzenia studenci b\u0119d\u0105 mieli okazj\u0119 spr\u00f3bowa\u0107 tradycyjnych da\u0144 kuchni podlaskiej.<\/p>\n

Planowana jest organizacja dw\u00f3ch spotka\u0144 \u201eChristmas Meeting\u201d w grudniu 2024 r. i grudniu 2025 r. Spotkanie ma na celu integracj\u0119 spo\u0142eczno\u015bci akademickiej, wymian\u0119 do\u015bwiadcze\u0144, prezentacj\u0119 tradycji kulturowych, ukazanie r\u00f3\u017cnorodno\u015bci w sposobie obchodzenia \u015awi\u0105t Bo\u017cego Narodzenia, \u015bwi\u0105tecznych zwyczaj\u00f3w panuj\u0105cych w r\u00f3\u017cnych krajach, bogactwa potraw spo\u017cywanych podczas \u015awi\u0105t, sposob\u00f3w obdarowywania prezentami itp. Wyj\u0105tkowym go\u015bciem, firmuj\u0105cym swoj\u0105 osob\u0105 to wydarzenie, b\u0119dzie Prezydent Miasta Bia\u0142egostoku (lub wskazany przedstawiciel W\u0142adz Miasta).<\/p>\n

II.10.6. Wyjazdy na konferencj\u0119 EAIE<\/strong><\/p>\n

Planowany jest udzia\u0142 2 os\u00f3b w konferencji w 2024, kt\u00f3ra odb\u0119dzie si\u0119 w Tuluzie, oraz 2 os\u00f3b w kolejnej edycji wydarzenia w 2025 r. Opr\u00f3cz promocji Uczelni na stoisku „Study in Poland” koordynowanym przez NAWA oraz zacie\u015bnienia wsp\u00f3\u0142pracy z obecnymi tam partnerami, uczestnictwo w konferencji przedstawicieli PB umo\u017cliwi rozszerzenie sieci kontakt\u00f3w oraz zdobycie wiedzy o najnowszych trendach w dziedzinie mi\u0119dzynarodowej edukacji<\/p>\n

II.10.7. Turniej pi\u0142karski BUT Cup<\/strong><\/p>\n

Planowana jest organizacja dw\u00f3ch edycji dwudniowego turnieju pi\u0142ki no\u017cnej \u201eBUT Cup\u201d. W turnieju we\u017amie udzia\u0142 6 zespo\u0142\u00f3w licz\u0105cych ka\u017cdy po 12 os\u00f3b, w tym 4 dru\u017cyny reprezentuj\u0105ce student\u00f3w zagranicznych (np.: Hiszpania, Turcja, Portugalia) oraz 1 \u2013 sk\u0142adaj\u0105ca si\u0119 ze student\u00f3w PB i 1- reprezentuj\u0105ca kadr\u0119 PB. W sumie przez 2 dni b\u0119dzie rozegranych 10 meczy: w pierwszym dniu odb\u0119d\u0105 si\u0119 rozgrywki grupowe, natomiast w drugim dniu – mecze fina\u0142owe. Mecze b\u0119d\u0105 si\u0119 odbywa\u0107 na terenie kompleksu sportowego Orlik PB.<\/p>\n

II.10.8. Taste Bialystok – warsztaty kulinarne z kuchni polskiej i regionalnej<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Warsztaty kulinarne z kuchni polskiej i regionalnej prowadzone w j\u0119zyku angielskim z elementami j\u0119zyka polskiego pozwol\u0105 na integracj\u0119 mi\u0119dzynarodowych uczestnik\u00f3w oraz na lepsz\u0105 adaptacj\u0119 w nowym miejscu pobytu. Kuchnia jest istotnym elementem kultury, a wsp\u00f3lne gotowanie i spo\u017cywanie posi\u0142k\u00f3w to sprawdzony spos\u00f3b na budowanie wi\u0119zi mi\u0119dzy lud\u017ami. Warsztaty pozwol\u0105 na interaktywn\u0105 i anga\u017cuj\u0105c\u0105 form\u0119 poznawania polskich tradycji, zwi\u0119kszenia \u015bwiadomo\u015bci kulturowej oraz wzmocnienia kompetencji j\u0119zykowych.
