Main goal of the project:<\/strong><\/p>\n

The main goal of the project is to organize and maintain a place dedicated to serving students and foreign staff at PB, the so-called Welcome Center, which will strengthen the image of our university as attractive to foreigners, not only due to the educational offer, but also due to the open, friendly academic community that cares about interpersonal integration. The activities of the Welcome Center are planned to include, among others: creating information spots regarding formalities related to the stay at the university and in Poland, organizing trips around Bia\u0142ystok, cultural and integration outings and culinary workshops on Polish cuisine for foreigners, as well as updating PB promotional materials in English. It is also planned to provide transport for foreign students from Warsaw to Bia\u0142ystok at the beginning of each semester, and to set up a multimedia information stand publicly available to foreign guests at the International Cooperation Office of the University of Bialystok.<\/p>\n

The project will improve the quality of service for students and foreign guests, expand knowledge about Polish culture, perceive the city and country as a friendly and attractive place to live, which will contribute to building a positive image of the University on the international arena, and over time will result in a greater number of student mobility and members of the academic community of foreign universities.<\/p>\n

Cel g\u0142\u00f3wny projektu:<\/strong><\/p>\n

G\u0142\u00f3wnym celem projektu jest organizacja i utrzymanie miejsca dedykowanego obs\u0142udze student\u00f3w i kadry zagranicznej na PB, tzw. Welcome Centre, co wzmocnieni wizerunek naszej uczelni jako atrakcyjnej dla obcokrajowc\u00f3w, nie tylko ze wzgl\u0119du na ofert\u0119 edukacyjn\u0105, ale tak\u017ce ze wzgl\u0119du na otwart\u0105, przyjazn\u0105 spo\u0142eczno\u015b\u0107 akademick\u0105, w kt\u00f3rej dba si\u0119 o integracj\u0119 mi\u0119dzyludzk\u0105. W ramach dzia\u0142alno\u015bci Welcome Centre planowane jest m.in. stworzenie spot\u00f3w informacyjnych dot. formalno\u015bci zwi\u0105zanych z pobytem na uczelni oraz w Polsce, organizacja wycieczek po Bia\u0142ymstoku, wyj\u015b\u0107 kulturalno-integracyjnych oraz warsztat\u00f3w kulinarnych z kuchni polskiej dla obcokrajowc\u00f3w, a tak\u017ce aktualizacja materia\u0142\u00f3w promocyjnych PB w j\u0119zyku angielskim. Planowane jest r\u00f3wnie\u017c zapewnienie transportu dla student\u00f3w zagranicznych z Warszawy do Bia\u0142egostoku na pocz\u0105tku ka\u017cdego semestru, czy ustawienie og\u00f3lnodost\u0119pnego dla zagranicznych go\u015bci, multimedialnego standu informacyjnego przy Biurze Wsp\u00f3\u0142pracy Mi\u0119dzynarodowej PB.<\/p>\n

Projekt wp\u0142ynie na popraw\u0119 jako\u015bci obs\u0142ugi student\u00f3w i go\u015bci zagranicznych, rozszerzenie wiedzy o kulturze Polski, postrzeganie miasta i kraju jako miejsca przyjaznego i atrakcyjnego do \u017cycia, co przyczyni si\u0119 do zbudowania pozytywnego wizerunku Uczelni na arenie mi\u0119dzynarodowej, a z czasem wp\u0142ynie na wi\u0119ksz\u0105 liczb\u0119 mobilno\u015bci student\u00f3w oraz cz\u0142onk\u00f3w spo\u0142eczno\u015bci akademickich uczelni zagranicznych.<\/p>\n
