{"id":1591,"date":"2020-11-23T13:53:15","date_gmt":"2020-11-23T12:53:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pb.edu.pl\/iro\/?page_id=1591"},"modified":"2021-05-07T15:26:37","modified_gmt":"2021-05-07T13:26:37","slug":"visegradfund","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/pb.edu.pl\/iro\/visegradfund\/","title":{"rendered":"Visegrad Fund"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"row\">\n<div class=\"col-sm-8\">\n<h3>The Fund is an international donor organization, established in 2000 by the governments of the Visegrad Group countries &#8211; Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia to promote regional cooperation in the Visegrad region (V4) as well as between the V4 region and other countries, especially in the Western Balkans and Eastern Partnership regions.<\/h3>\n<p>The Fund does so by awarding \u20ac8 million through grants, scholarships and artist residencies provided annually by equal contributions of all the V4 countries. Other donor countries (Canada, Germany, the Netherlands, South Korea, Sweden, Switzerland, the United States) have provided another \u20ac10 million through various grant schemes run by the Fund since 2012.<\/p>\n<h4>Grants<\/h4>\n<p>With grants, fund seek to advance innovative ideas that address shared challenges by high quality regional cooperation projects. Whether you are pursuing arts, work with vulnerable groups or focus on innovative entrepreneurship, we believe regional cooperation can bring positive change to your field or community.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to apply?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Visegrad Fund awards grants three times a year via three different grant programs. Check application deadlines, create your electronic application and apply online.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Deadlines<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There are three regular calls for applications open 30 days before the deadlines of submission on 1 February, 1 June, 1 October. It is not possible to apply for funding outside of this period.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Applications<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>No matter where your organization is from, you can apply for grants if your project develops active cooperation with organizations from at least 3 Visegrad countries. Only a single project application per applicant can be submitted at a time, but you can re-apply once all your previous projects financed by the Fund have been concluded.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Conditions<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Specific conditions apply for each of the three grant programs. Find the right grant program for your project via <a title=\"go to website\" href=\"https:\/\/www.visegradfund.org\/apply\/grants\/visegrad-grants\/\">Grant Finder<\/a>.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Mobility<\/h4>\n<p>Mobility, whether for study, research or artist residency is a central part of our aim to foster creativity and promote understanding between people across borders. We look for individuals pursuing innovative ideas in science and education as well as artists and artist groups wishing to engage in conversation on contemporary art in Visegrad region.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Academic mobility<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Visegrad Fund support Bachelor&#8217;s, Master&#8217;s and Post-Master&#8217;s studies and research activities in all disciplines and in any language for up to four semesters at more than 190 higher education institutions across Central and Eastern Europe.<\/p>\n<p>The following three schemes are supported within the VSP:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Intra-Visegrad Scholarships: For scholars or researchers within the territory of the Member States;<\/li>\n<li>Out-Going Scholarships: For scholars or researchers from Member States for studies at accredited universities in Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Macedonia (F.Y.R.O.M.), Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia and Ukraine  &#8211; the same rules are applicable to Kosovar universities;<\/li>\n<li>In-Coming Scholarships: For scholars or researchers who are citizens of the following Western Balkan countries: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia (F.Y.R.O.M.), Montenegro and Serbia wishing to study in the Member States\u2014the same rules are applicable to Kosovar scholars. For scholars or researchers who are citizens of the following Eastern Partnership countries: Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Assessment criteria<\/strong><br \/>\nApplicants for mobility programs are evaluated on the grounds of their academic or artistic merit, originality and the relevance of the selected host institution. Specific criteria apply for each of the mobility programs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to apply?<\/strong><br \/>\nCalls for applications for each residency program are launched annually. Each call has an opening and closing date and outside of this period it is not possible to apply for support. Please note that deadlines vary according to different mobility program.
