Juwenalia Bia\u0142ystok 2026 kicked off with a colourful Student Parade. Around 40,000 participants visited the Bialystok University of Technology campus over two days to celebrate people who put learning first in their daily lives.<\/div>\n

For two days, the Bialystok University of Technology campus was transformed into a huge festival town. Juwenalia Bia\u0142ystok 2026 was opened by the Student Parade.<\/p>\n

The symbolic keys to the city of Bia\u0142ystok were handed over to the students by Rafa\u0142 Rudnicki, Deputy President of the City of Bia\u0142ystok. He was joined by \u0141ukasz Prokorym, Marshal of the Podlaskie Voivodeship, and Tomasz Klim, also Deputy President of the City of Bia\u0142ystok.<\/p>\n

\u2013 The parade is the perfect opening of Juwenalia for students<\/em> \u2013 parade participants said enthusiastically. \u2013 Everyone stands still, we ride, we walk, everyone waves at us, we smile, the city is colourful, so this is that one moment in the year to go through the city, have fun, play music and dance. Who wouldn\u2019t want that \u2013 we get the keys, the city is ours.<\/em><\/p>\n

From NZS Square towards the Bialystok University of Technology, a mass of costumed students set off in the parade.<\/p>\n

\u2013 I have a sword and Malenia\u2019s armour from Elden Ring<\/em> \u2013 one of the parade participants colourfully described her outfit. There were costumes of the Mandalorian, and a student from the Medical University of Bialystok chose a traditional Lemko costume.<\/p>\n

The most impressive were the vehicles built by students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Bialystok University of Technology. At the front \u2013 a huge monster truck. In handing over the keys to the city to the students, Assoc. Prof. Marta Kosior-Kazberuk, DSc, PhD, Eng., Rector of the Bialystok University of Technology, took part.<\/p>\n

\u2013 I love live concerts, and here we have a whole showcase of artists, a galaxy of different music genres, and I am interested in every one of them<\/em> \u2013 said Prof. Kosior-Kazberuk. \u2013 Every performer is a star. We listened both live and on records. Some we have known for 30 years or more. So we will see what surprises they have for us, because artists often surprise.<\/em><\/p>\n

Many people came to the Bialystok University of Technology campus from across the voivodeship and other regions of Poland. The line-up was a major draw, featuring both music scene veterans such as Maryla Rodowicz, Bajm with Beata Kozidrak, Lady Pank, and D\u017cem on the main stage of the Bialystok University of Technology, as well as hip-hop stars spanning several decades. Pezet, White 2115, Kaz Ba\u0142agane, PRO8L3M and Bambi had a separate large hip-hop stage. Importantly, only students chose which performers they wanted to invite to their Juwenalia.<\/p>\n

\u2013 We create this event not only for students, which is evident from the line-up. There are both older bands and hip-hop stars. It is a mixed type of music so that everyone can find something for themselves. And indeed, you can see the younger audience, the older audience, and mixed crowds<\/em> \u2013 said Karolina Baluta, coordinator of Juwenalia 2026, for Radio Bia\u0142ystok.
