Bialystok University of Technology will receive nearly PLN 1.5 million in funding from the prestigious \u201cSupport for European Universities\u201d programme run by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA). The funding will be used to further internationalise the university and strengthen cooperation within the European University Across alliance.<\/a>.<\/div>\n

Thanks to the funding granted by NAWA, Bialystok University of Technology will implement a project entitled \u201cTogether Towards Excellence \u2013 Bialystok University of Technology in the Activities of the Across Alliance \u2013 PBAcross<\/em>\u201d. It includes a wide range of initiatives aimed at deepening collaboration among the universities forming the consortium. In addition to Bialystok University of Technology \u2013 the largest technical university in the north-eastern region of Poland \u2013 the Across European University alliance includes academic institutions from nine countries: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, France, Spain, Germany, Romania, Slovenia, Italy, and Ukraine (an associated university in Lviv).<\/p>\n

Under the project, staff and doctoral students from Bialystok University of Technology will take part in mobilities to partner universities within the Across alliance. The university will also host an international scientific conference and a summer school, and prepare joint scientific publications authored by researchers from partner institutions. As a result of the project, 68 academic teachers from BUT, 16 from partner institutions, and 48 students will enhance their skills and qualifications.<\/p>\n

Key activities of the project include:<\/p>\n
