In the ranking evaluating scientific output for the year 2023 alone, the highest position was taken by Prof. Krzysztof \u017bur from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at Bialystok University of Technology.<\/div>\n<div style=\"clear: both\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<p>The Top 2% list of the most influential scientists is compiled by Stanford University in cooperation with Elsevier and SciTech Strategies. The ranking includes researchers from around the world and is based on their scientific contributions. Evaluation criteria include the number of citations by other authors, the Hirsch index (h-index), and the position and role of the researcher in the author list of publications. The data for the ranking is drawn from the Scopus database.<\/p>\n<p>Stanford University compiles two types of rankings. The first considers a scientist\u2019s entire career (up to the end of 2023), while the second focuses on contributions within a specific calendar year, in this case, 2023.
