Assoc. Prof. Marta Kosior-Kazberuk, DSc, PhD, Eng, Rector of Bialystok University of Technology, has appointed the vice-rectors and deans of the faculties for the 2024-2028 term.<\/div>\n

Assoc. Prof. Marta Kosior-Kazberuk, DSc, PhD, Eng, Rector of Bialystok University of Technology, appointed the vice-rectors for the 2024-2028 term during a meeting held on 4 July 2024, in the conference hall of the rectorate. She had previously introduced their profiles and sought the University Council’s opinion.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

– I am counting on good and intensive cooperation in implementing the Development Strategy of Bialystok University of Technology for the benefit of our University, which is developing very well \u2013<\/em> says Assoc. Prof. Marta Kosior-Kazberuk, DSc, PhD, Eng, Rector of Bialystok University of Technology. – Together, we will take care of the University\u2019s staff, students, and doctoral students, ensuring everyone feels good, has their place, and has full opportunities for development.<\/em><\/p>\n

– I will be responsible for acquiring and implementing international projects, particularly those oriented towards cooperation with the national economy, as well as national projects, including those carried out in consortia with industry \u2013 <\/em>Assoc. Prof. Miros\u0142aw \u015awiercz, DSc, PhD, Eng, Vice-Rector for Development of Bialystok University of Technology. \u2013 We will focus on expanding the university’s potential and transferring the results of our work to industry. This will provide additional funds for the University, supplementing the subsidy<\/em><\/p>\n

The primary task of Prof. Marek Kr\u0119towski, Vice-Rector for Research, is the evaluation of the University.<\/p>\n

– I hope we can improve our results \u2013<\/em> says Prof. Kr\u0119towski.<\/p>\n

Bialystok University of Technology continues to modernise the quality of education.<\/p>\n

– My main goal is to refresh the educational offer at our university \u2013<\/em> declares Assoc. Prof. Katarzyna Halicka, DSc, PhD, Eng, Vice-Rector for Education. – I also want to demystify the concept of educational quality so that it is not just associated with filling out spreadsheets by academic staff, but that everyone knows it is important to us. The most important thing is to work together with people and all the teams at the University to build modern education<\/em><\/p>\n

Assoc. Prof. Dorota Krawczyk, DSc, PhD, Eng, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, declares further development of the University’s nationwide visibility in terms of internationalisation.<\/p>\n

– A new challenge is the creation of a completely new consortium at the level of a European university in collaboration with eight other universities from across Europe \u2013<\/em> says Prof. Krawczyk. – This will bring a new quality in education, research, and cooperation between universities<\/em><\/p>\n

Assoc. Prof. Jacek \u017bmojda, DSc, PhD, Eng, has been appointed Vice-Rector for Student Affairs at Bialystok University of Technology.<\/p>\n

– I want to work with students and act as a bridge between their needs and the University’s capabilities \u2013<\/em> declares Prof. \u017bmojda. – I am thinking about increasing motivation for studying. Students should not be afraid of studying or the University’s staff. We are here to help them believe in their strengths, achieve their goals, and meet the learning outcomes defined by our University. I plan to create a university-wide platform or network for cooperation among students from different faculties, so they can support each other, form an academic community, and be competitive in the job market.<\/em><\/p>\n
